In terms of climate and rental yield, it was a solid 2-0 for the Canary Islands. But maybe you are still not convinced that \"island life\" is for you. Therefore, we continue here with a comparison between the mainland and Lanzarote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The \"own-car fear\":<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Buyers often have the idea that they will enjoy driving their car to the south of Spain a lot. The idea that the car is a piece of \"home\" and that you are immediately mobile there makes sense, of course. However, there are a few reservations to be made:<br>Depending on your exact point of departure and Spanish destination, you can expect a driving time of 17 to 24 hours. Without breaks! Unless you can divide the driving time very well and you are a real mile-eater, you will have to stay overnight once or twice on the way there and once or twice on the way back. This is certainly not worthwhile for a week and does not make financial sense. A trip there and back will cost you at least 600 euros in terms of tolls and fuel.<br>You can actually fly to Lanzarote almost every day with direct flights from Brussels, Charleroi, Eindhoven, Rotterdam, Amsterdam and D\u00fcsseldorf, among others. Off-season, you can usually get there and back for less than 200 euros.<br>Moreover, there are many reliable car rental companies on Lanzarote. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pluscar-lanzarote.com\/booking.php?lang=en&amp;gclid=EAIaIQobChMIvY61iYLs7wIVD5ntCh0S8wagEAAYASAAEgKxNPD_BwE\">Autos Plus Car - Online Reservation - Rent a car Lanzarote - Car Hire (pluscar-lanzarote.com)<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cabreramedina.com\/EN?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIk7Xfn4Ls7wIVAr_tCh3bdAz_EAAYASAAEgJOKPD_BwE\">Cabrera Medina - Lanzarote &amp; Canary Islands Car Hire<\/a> are our personal recommendations, but in fact you can find them anywhere. If you choose a basic model with comprehensive insurance and a second driver, you will usually not pay more than 150 euros\/week. Do you want to buy a house in the Canary Islands? Then you don't have to despair about transport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Culture lover?<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will not deny it. On the Spanish mainland, you can indulge yourself culturally: from museums to Mozambique architecture. You will find everything.<br>If you choose to buy a house on, for example, Lanzarote, the choice is of course more limited, but there are certainly a number of places worth visiting: think of the house of the famous architect\/artist C\u00e9sar Manrique (<a href=\"http:\/\/fcmanrique.org\/casas-museo-visitas\/casa-museo-cesar-manrique-haria\/?lang=en\">C\u00e9sar Manrique House Museum, Har\u00eda - Fundaci\u00f3n C\u00e9sar Manrique (fcmanrique.org)<\/a>) or the house of the famous writer Jos\u00e9 Saramago, the underwater museum, etc. You can also go to the cinema (even outdoors): <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biosferaplaza.es\/cine\/\">Cine | Centro Comercial Biosfera Plaza<\/a>) or go dancing in a club. In addition, Lanzarote is bursting with quality and cheap restaurants.<br><br>However, the island's greatest asset is its beautiful nature.
