Many houses and bungalows of a medium price range can be found in Playa Blanca. If your house does not need its own swimming pool, you can choose a house in a complex. These houses or bungalows enjoy beautiful communal gardens and swimming pools. They are often slightly cheaper in purchase price and are usually easier to maintain. Nice complexes in this category include Jardines del Sol or Casas del Sol. Playa Blanca has different zones where you can buy houses. There is the more expensive, more exclusive area near Montaña Roja. Villas located on the 'Red Mountain' usually have a private pool and a large outdoor area. They enjoy spectacular views over the sea where you can see the other island of Fuerteventura in the distance. These residential areas feel very spacious and exclusive and lend themselves very well to walks, both up the volcano and to the coast. You can also choose a house with private pool located in complexes. These complexes offer your house in Lanzarote sufficient security (lock up and leave) and privacy. Villas Blancas or Las Buganvillas are good examples. The complexes at Marina Rubicon and Las Coloradas also offer great value for money. The sometimes cheaper prices have to do with the larger supply and the rise of recent urbanisations.

Buying a house in Lanzarote is also possible in Puerto del Carmen or Costa Teguise. Although we do not want to generalise, buying a house with a private pool here is often more expensive. This is due to the price of the land and the lack of supply. Although these villas are usually a little more expensive, you can quickly recoup this price when renting them out. After all, they are very popular with holidaymakers.
